Tachometer by Annik Inc doesn't show in the dashboard after adding it

Hi Everyone,

I have recently started using the Custom Visual - Tachometer by Annik Inc.
It was working fine until recently. When I open my dashboard with this visual, its not showing the visual, however if I upload the same pbix onto the server, I can see the visual.

There is some issue in the indicator and 1st Range and as I am not able to see the visual in the Dashboard.

I tried to get in touch with the Annik Support but i get the 404 error, Annik home page says launching soon.

Would be a great help if someone can help fix this issue.

THanks,

Sahitya Y

Hi @v-pnaroju-msft ,
Apparently we have noticed this issue with other custom visuals we are using. And yes I have tried the steps listed in the earlier messages.

I have raised this with my company's internal power bi support team.

THanks,

Sahitya Y

Thank you, @pankajnamekar25, for your response.

Hi @SahityaYeruband,

We appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Based on my understanding, it appears that the issue may arise from how the Tachometer by Annik Inc. custom visual is handled within dashboards as opposed to reports, or it could be related to updates.

Kindly follow the steps below, which may help to resolve the issue:

  1. Check the version of the custom visual and re-download it from Microsoft AppSource.
  2. Delete and re-add the visual to your report and rebind the necessary fields (Indicator, Range, etc.).
  3. Ensure that custom visuals are enabled in your Power BI Service settings; the administrator may need to verify this.
  4. If you are using dashboard tiles, consider using report pages instead, as custom visuals may not render well on dashboards.
  5. Alternatively, you may try the built-in Gauge visual or the Bullet Chart by OKViz, which offer similar functionality and have strong Microsoft support.

If you find our response helpful, please mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members who may be facing similar queries.

Thank you.

Hello @SahityaYeruband

If you have licences then only it will work properly , use SVG to create your own visual.

Thanks,
