Tabular Editor model changes not updaint in Power BI Desktop

Often when saving changes to my model in Tabular editor 2, the Power BI desktop doesn't update the model, sometimes this takes several saves in Tabular editor, or it requires creating a new measure in Power BI desktop to force the updating of the model.

My model is quite large with a few thousand measures, has anyone had a similar problem?

do these script options "Refresh Mode" have any bearing?

Hi there

I too have had this problem for some time.

There is no quick fix to the problem.  Closing and reopening models is annoying and time consuming.

I agree that this is a BUG and needs to be fixed.

I am facing the same issue: I modified the partition, saved it, deployed it, saved it again, and the updates are not showing in Power BI service or in Tabular editor itself. Any ideas?

Hi @Sofim86 , did you manage to fix this issue? I'm still facing the same problem. After modifying and saving the partition, the semantic model in Power BI Service/Tabular Editor isn't updating. The refresh still uses the previous query (but the query has been updated/saved in Tabular model). I have to keep trying to save it, but the process is quite slow.  Even after saving, it still does not work..

@JohnShepherdAPD , I faced a few times with Tabular editor.

 Have close all power bi files and tabular editor and open again and try again
