Is there a way to accelerate migration of existing tableau reports to power bi without using any accelerator or tool?

Hi @powerbiexpert22 , here is an article about Tableau to Power BI migration I recently posted: https://vidi-corp.com/migrating-from-tableau-to-power-bi/
Hope it will be useful!

Hi, @powerbiexpert22

Thanks @Daniel29195 , I have the following additions. Migrating reports from Tableau to Power BI involves several steps, including data source migration, report design, and visualization transfer. The following is a rough migration process:
1. Data source preparation:
Identify data sources: First, you need to identify the data sources used in Tableau reports, including databases, files, online services, etc.
Data source connections: Establish connections to these data sources in Power BI.
2. Data model migration:
Data model conversion: Convert Tableau's data model to a data model in Power BI. This may include transformations of tables, relationships, calculated fields, etc.
Data transformation: If you use specific data transformations or calculations in Tableau, you will need to reimplement these logic in Power BI.
3. Report design:
Layout design: Design the layout of the report in Power BI, which may include the size of the report, the organization of the page, the arrangement of visual objects, etc.
Visualization conversion: Convert visualizations in Tableau to visual objects in Power BI. Although the visualization libraries of the two tools are not exactly the same, most common chart types (such as bar charts, line charts, pie charts, etc.) can find corresponding visual objects in Power BI.
4. Interaction and filtering:
Interaction design: Implement interactive functions of Tableau reports in Power BI, such as filtering, highlighting, tool tips, etc.
Filtering logic: Convert filtering logic in Tableau to slicers, page filters, or other filtering mechanisms in Power BI.
5. Style and Format:
Style adjustment: Adjust the style of the Power BI report to make it as close as possible to the style of the Tableau report.
Formatting: Format visual objects, including color, font, margins, etc.
6. Publish and share
Publish reports: Publish Power BI reports to the Power BI service.
Sharing settings: Set the sharing and access rights of the report in Power BI Service to ensure that the target audience can correctly access the report.
7. Testing and verification.
Please note that these steps above may vary depending on the complexity of the report, the type and number of data sources, and the needs of your organization. You can click on the link below to learn more about what you need to learn to transfer Tableau reports to Power BI:

@powerbiexpert22

not that i know of.

+  i think it would be better that you make the migration so that you have full control on the way the migration is going.
