Table visual problem - an intriguing one

Hi,   I have attached a data table and the corresponding visual.     I need to be able to visualise the table so its values do not double up as it can be seen above. Matrix Visual does...

Hi magyar

 

What you could try is in the Query Editor to Add in a new column, and give it any name and any value. This is just so that you have got another column in your data.

 

Then right click on your new column and select 'Unpivot Other Columns'

This will then unpivot your data where you will now have your months and data on the rows.

Now Remove the column you created above in the first part.

 

That should then load to your data model where you can view it as you required as per your second image.

    Thanks so much for taking the time and looking at the this.

     

    I have done the workaround you have suggested before and it functions fine, you are right however i am after something more intuitive, more straight forward if you know what i mean because I have to update the data from time to time, a process that I would like to automate too.

      Hi magyar

       

      That process will work everytime you update the data. All the steps that you have in the Applied Steps in the Query Editor will be run each and every time you refresh the data. So that should then automate your process?
