Table object selection do not filter slicers

I have Table visuals and slicers.
When I select a row in Table it do not filter slicers. Is it correct?
or any issue/limitation with Power BI?
As Power BI is an interactive reporting tool, a selection should impact all related visuals (unless the interactiveness is switched off)

Please help my understanding. THank you

When you select a record you are not filtering, you are highlighting.

Filters and highlighting in Power BI reports - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

"Filters remove all but the data you want to focus on. In general, highlighting isn't filtering. In most visuals, highlighting doesn't remove the unrelated data. Instead it highlights the related data."
