hi all,
I want to load data from 1 table object in excel file into power bi. In the Navigator, it shows a long list of objects which is not in the excel file, i try to find the table object that i want to import but it is not in the list
Do you have any idea what is happening ?
thanks
@ktt777 is your Excel table actually formatted as a named table within the Excel file? Or is it just a standard range on a sheet?
Screenshots would help discern what is going on...
i have a table name "LALA"
Hi @ktt777
Is your table "LALA" empty? This issue may be caused by power bi couldn't identify your data model.
I have a test, I build an empty table named "LALA", and connect to this excel in Power BI Desktop.
It works well. My desktop can find this table.
You can try to rebuild the table and keep the table format by default and try again.
For reference: Connect to Excel in Power BI Desktop
Check the version of your desktop, and download the latest version: Download.
Best Regards,
Rico Zhou
