Hello everyone,
I am fairly new to Power BI and I can't seem to find the answer to my issue on the forums. My data is pretty simple, I have a table of transactions, a table of clients and a table of sellers. In the transactions table, I have a large amount of data (transactions), with the ID of the transaction, the ID of the client, and the ID of the seller (+other infos). I would like to have a page of visuals per category (client and seller), containing information about a specific entitity (one specific client, one specific seller for instance). To select a specific entity, I have a table (visual) with all the transactions on the main page, and I would like to click on a specific transaction, and then switch to another page on Power BI (for example the clients page), and have all the informations specific to the client engaged in the transaction selected earlier on the main page.
However, I can't find how to do this online. When all the visuals are on the same page it is working, but when they are all on different pages the filter doesn't seem to apply. I know there is the "filter" option that could help me here, but the "basic filtering" option wouldn't be easy on the eyes since I have a lot of data and differents IDs, I would like something more visual, hence the use of a table with all the transactions.
Does anybody have an idea on how to do this ?
Thank you very much.

Hi @Anonymous
According to your requirement, I think you always filter other visuals by selecting table visual and currently you want to filter visuals in other pages by this table visual as well.
Currently Power BI supports you to impact other visuals by visuals in same page. We call this function the interactions of visuals. There are three functions cross-filter, cross-highlight and none.
For reference: Change how visuals interact in a Power BI report
However this funtion is only enable in same page. If you want to filter other visuals, table visual is not a good choice. You can try slicer and use sync slicer in Power BI. Then you can filter visuals in other page by this slicer.
For reference: Sync and use slicers on other pages
Or you can use Filters on all pages in Filter Field.
Note: Both Slicer and Filter on all pages don't support measures.

Rico Zhou
