Table columns not adding past current date
I am building a table to forecast the end of the month. The Forecasted total Mined is the sum of the previous 2 columns. I am not sure why the daily numbers are showing correctly but the totals and the cumulative do not calculate correctly past the last total tons date.
Hi geochick_ID ,
You need to use SUMMARIZE() to create a virtual table in measure. This virtual table should be constructed to look like your table visual.
Total = VAR _s = SUMMARIZE ( 'table', [date], "remaining days", [measure_remaining days], "forecast total", [measure_forecast_total] ) RETURN SUMX ( _s, [forecast total] ) cumulative = VAR _s = SUMMARIZE ( FILTER ( ALLSELECTED ( 'table' ), [date] <= MAX ( 'table'[date] ) ), [date], "remaining days", [measure_remaining days], "forcaset_cumulative", [measure_cumulative] ) RETURN SUMX ( _s, [forcaset_cumulative] )

chenwu zhu,
I tried that and is pulling data from outside the filtered dates and still not calculating the forecasted days.
