Table Matrix sorting not working

So I have this table matrix, and I'm trying to sort the agency from A-Z, which should result to BSMI as first value, I also checked the more option [attached below]

Try putting the URL link field after the agency field.

Hi @mrlnbcln ,

 

Sorting in matrix happens within a hierarchy.  In your case, each item in Agency is being sorted within its own Model and URL group.

it works! Thank you so much, but I'm wondering why. Do you have explanation?

@danextian explains it well.  The sorting happens down through the hieararcy based on the order of the fields in the matrix so your Agency were being sorted by the URL.
