Table Column Header Word Wrap not working

I've create a Power BI report that has a table with word wrap.(I've set 'Text Wrap' = on and 'Auto size width'= off)

However the header height can't be fixed after I wrap header column.

As you can see below capture, when the wrap goes to more than 2 lines, the bottom line gets chopped.

for test, I named this column as 'test test %'

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

Hi @Chita ,

The latest version currently available on the official website is the August 2024 version:

Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center

The September 2024 version you are using should have been downloaded from the MS Store, please do not use that version as it is an over-the-top version and its functionality is not stable. Please download the August 2024 version from the official website, which is stable.
All of my testing has also been done on the August 2024 version with no problems found.

Hi @Chita ,

Thanks for lbendlin's reply!
After my testing, this may not have anything to do with the text size, I set the text size of the column headings to very large and it also automatically adjusts the height of the column headings to display them in full:

I have a feeling this could be a temporary issue, you could try clearing Desktop's cache, closing the software completely and rebooting to continue trying.

If the problem persists after a reboot, could you please let us know the version number of your Desktop, and preferably provide us with your pbix file, thank you.

hey Dino,

Thanks for your suggestion, I just cleared all cache but it still happens.

The desktop version I am using is version: 2.133.379.0 64-bit (September 2024) and this problem has been happening for months 😞

And I'm sorry I can't provide the pbix file due to data sensitivity, I'm trying to reproduce this issue in a test version.

Thanks

Chita

The font size seems a little excessive. What happens when you take that down a couple points?

Hey lbendlin,

Thank you for your reply!

The font size I am using is 12px and I change it to 10px, but it still happens.  May not caused by text size.
