TOP N with Dates

Hi,

 

I'm using the Top N filter with a date field as the delimiter and I'm setting it to "Latest Date" with Top 5. I'm using this on a custom tooltip page and the connection is a Live Connection to Azure AS.

 

When I use the tooltip on rollover it doesn't obey the Top N filter, it provides all rows but if I change the date field to a measure it obeys the Top N filter.

 

Anyone know any issues with Top N in relation to Live connection that would cause this behaviour?

    Anonymous,

    I am unable to reproduce your issue in the Power BI Desktop May release. TopN works in tooltip as expected when I set it to date field with Top 5. Do you use the latest version of Power BI Desktop and do you get expected result in imported dataset?
