TMDL VSCode extension

hello guys 

anyone had the chance to try TMDL VSCode extension TO Connect to the model , i have installed it but can't  find the extenstion to activate it

    If you have installed the extension it should be already working on the VS code you need to be connect to the folder where the TMDL is located or to rthe service, be aware that this will only work for models in PBIP format.

     

    Has you can see in the image below Without TMDL extension there is no highlig and not intellisense with the extension it's working:

    Hi AbuJana,

     

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

     

    If you are trying to use TMDL with power bi, chek if the TMDL View is enabled in power bi desktop. Open power bi desktop, go to File --> Options and settings --> Options, under Preview features enable TMDL View, click on OK and restart the power bi desktop. This will allow to work with the TMDL in power bi.

    And ensure that the power bi model is saved in .PBIP format, as the extension only works with PBIP files.
