TMDL: Unsupported object type - cultureInfo is not a supported property

I have a report on Power BI Service using the TMDL model and is connected to a Azure DevOps Repository.

The TMDL model seems to change on Service side and Porwer BI Desktop cannot load the report anymore.

Both are running on the latest versions.

Hi @NorbertFroschl ,

This issue has been filed internally, so please be patient and wait for a fix. I will update here if there is any news.

You can try the following solutions first:

Open the TMDL file and rename the culture TMDL object type name from "cultureInfo" to "culture".

@Anonymous : Thanks for the advice. I had to rename the "cultureInfo" to "culture" in model.tmdl and cultures/de-DE.tmdl. That helped.

Is there any updates on a fix? It's a real pain for our analysts to change this everything they do an update on a dashboard

Hi @Julien_L ,

Try updating Power BI Desktop to the latest version. The news I got is that the bug will be fixed in the May release.

Thanks a lot for the answer @Anonymous, in fact problem was linked to discrepancies in the versions used by our analysts, some being on latest and others being on February/April versions. Switching to May version solve the problem

Hello,
Was this issue solved? I'm still struggling with it.
