Synoptic panel map not appearing

Good morning, I'm very new to BI, and am trying to map a visual of injury count for a dataset as shown by my synoptic map.  However when I add 'local map' and select the SVG shown, nothing changes ...

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    I can use Synoptic panel map visual without any problem. Did you add fields to Category and Measure on the visual? After adding corresponding fields, it will display the map. Otherwise it displays blank.  

     

    In addition, it is crucial to have the same names for areas and in data tables.

     

    I followed the following article to create the synoptic panel map. Hope it would be helpful.
