Synoptic Panel by OKViz lock map movement
Hello,
is there an option to lock the map position and zoom in the custom Synoptic Panel Visual? Can't figure this out.
It's important to me because the report is being consumed on a big touch display and some people use those visuals to filter for a certain date. But sometimes the map then moves around which is not intended. See in the pictures below.

To lock the map position and zoom in the Synoptic Panel Visual by OKViz in Power BI, there isn't a direct built-in option to prevent the visual from moving or zooming. However, you can work around this by using Bookmarks to capture and lock the current position and zoom level of the map. Once you’ve adjusted the visual to your desired view, you can create a Bookmark that saves this state and apply it through buttons or other interactive elements, ensuring that the map returns to this fixed view when users filter for different dates. Another approach is to disable the pan and zoom feature within the visual settings, which prevents the map from shifting unexpectedly. While these methods aren't perfect solutions, they provide a way to manage the interactivity of the visual and maintain a consistent experience, especially on touch displays where users may unintentionally alter the view. By combining bookmarks and layout control, you can minimize movement and zooming in the visual, offering more stability for report consumers.
