Syncing slicers with filter pane

Hi,

Does anyone know how to sync slicers while using the filter pane?  I am specifically trying to use the advanced option of creating groups so that when I select two columns from two unrelated tables I can sync them.  I know how to do this with slicers but I am unsure if it's possible within the pane itself?

Thanks!

Ok, was worried this might be the answer!  Wanted to keep all my filter options within the pane itself.  Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous,

The filter pane is not has no syncronization option.

As you know the filter pane as filter for visual, page and report if you place the columns you want to filter on the report part it will be used in all the pages of the report sp no need to place slicers on the pages this however may not be very clear to the end user when they use the filter pane.

I think the slicers do have to be placed on the report page unless there is a way to sync them? (I am not referring to ability to sync between pages but instead between slicers themselves).

Hi @Anonymous,

On your post your refer of sync the filter pane with the slicers that is not possible, regarding the slicers as you refer you need to place them on the report pages what can be done is hide the slicers and make a start page with all the slicers. But you cannot sinc the slicers with the filter pane.
