Syncing Different Slicers

Hello everyone, I am trying to create a synced date slicer between two pages, but slices a different date column on each page.

In this particular section of my report I have two pages that are the exact same, except one is focused on start dates and the other is focused on due dates (all data for these pages come from the same table). I am trying to sync the filters between the pages, but I am having an issue with syncing the date range filter, because it needs to filter one page by start dates, and the other by due dates. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could go about doing this?

I have date table that I can connect the start and due date columns to with an inactive relationship. One of my ideas is to make the slicer filter by the date table, which would inturn filter the repective column, but it would require (to my knowledge) finding a way to set a different active relationship strictly for that page, which I do not know if that is possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, if anything is not clear, please let me know and I will try to clarify. Thank you in advanced!

Hi @zzammit ,

To make this sync between pages you need to follow the advance sync on sync separate slicers:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-slicers#sync-separate-slice...

Another option is to create a measure that is similar to the one below you can use it on your specific page:

Measure = CALCULATE(SUM(Table[Column]), USERELATIONSHIP(Table[DueDate], Calendar[Date]) )

If you use this measure on your visualizations then you can filter by the date in both pages and the slicers will sync.
