Synchronized Slicers Update Feb 2018

Upgraded desktop to Feb 2018 version because I wanted to use the 'Synchronize slicers accross report pages'.  (Article is here:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-slicers)

Sync is a great feature, but it didn't work with the Microsoft Timeline Slicer (https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA104380786).  It does work with the slicer included in the basic set of visuals

Can we get the MS Timeline Slicer updated to sync?

Thanks,

Chas

      Thanks v-ljerr-msft,

Just throwing this out there in case you may not have thought of it...

Once this works across all slicers then I can tell a story about the data the end user just looked at (filtered) using the enhanced story teller visualzation (https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA104380950).

Say the end user slices a report based on date and location -- with this sync, I can now tell the user a story about the data they just saw -- ie "On this date last week you had _#_ salesmen working in _Jackson County_.  They fielded _#_ of sales propositions with a ROI of 28%...  Today, you had _#_ salesmen working in _Jackson County_.  They fielded _#_ of sales propositions with a ROI of 11%.  All of this based on the slicer/filters they submitted. BAM!..BEAUTIFUL...BAM!

Forgot to explain (put the above in context) ... The data story works fine as is, but there's limited real estate on each report page and I fill those report pages with graphs and matrix tables for reporting.

When sync works across all slicers, I'll be able to add a last page; "Data Story", and the story will be based on the slicers from the previous pages.  That's what I meant to get across.
