Sync slicers with different fields/using parameters to change multiple filters

Hey guys,

I have been building a Dashboard to display some hospital data - this includes data on admissions, bed occupancy, and discharges form the hospital.
I would like the user to be able to select the Speciality that will apply to the whole dashboard.

The Specialty for each of these categories is not the same field ( i.e. the admitting speciality is a different field than the discharge speciality), however the possible options for Specialty are exactly the same (General Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology...etc)

Currently I have three slicers on my dashboard, one linked to each set of tiles displaying data from each of these categories.

I would like to know if there is a way to create a single slicer from a table with a generic list of all the Specialties from which the user can select 1 Specialty which will then be passed on to the individual slicers for each category.

Any help/advice would be appericated!

    Hi choening,

Did you mean that the value in three slicer are the same, and you want to use one slicer to snyc report result, right?

As I know, in report, we could set sync slicer  to achieve this goal. But sync slicer don't support in dashboard. You could submit requirement in Power BI Ideas or vote in Sync Slicers in Dashboard .

    Best Regards,
