Hi all,
I created a report that has some slicers in the report page, but when I select one of the fields I would like that the filters on this page would be affected and interact with it too. Is that possible?
Thanks!
I don't think that is possible. Filters have three scopes: Visual, Page, and Report.
Slicers only affect things on the page, and you can control that with Visual Interactions.
I think the limitation is due to the order in which the data is filtered, if and when it is filtered:
Report Level filters first, then Page level, then Visual level filters, then slicers on the page. And these filters propogate to the next scope level.
You can't go backwards up the scope.
At least that is my understanding of it. If anyone know differently, please enlighten us.
