I have an area chart (Power KPI 2.0.0) with y-axis and x-axis.
The y-axis is represented by the amount of customers.
The x-axis is represented by the time in weeks.
So the visual shows basically the amount of customers over the time in a running total.
the expected result:
is it possible to switch (using a slicer) between week and month for the x-axis?

Hi, @tbones
According to your description, I think you need to build a monthly or weekly bridge table according to your own situation.
You can refer to a similar case about dynamic x-axis:Solved: Dynamic change in X Axis - Microsoft Power BI Community

@tbones , You can do that using bookmarks and buttons

or refer

thank you @amitchandak for this ultra quick response.
I know both links. A short feedback to them:
- radacad link: I want to avoid bookmarks as they are adding extra efforts to maintain multiple visual and also not fitting to the design with all the other slicers. Please imaging having 7 slicers and than one button to switch the time.
Possible and indeed a solution, but if this is posisble with a slicer, I would prefer this
- I have checked the Power BI Elite Youtube link and I find this really clever for the cases similiar as decribed in the video.
But I am not sure how to implement this on a line or area chart using the time in my case and using the custom visual I have mentioned above. May I ask for any further advises?
