Switch Statement - summing up totals

Hello Community - Trying to determine how to createa  Switch statement, and if I need to (or not) use a group by statement as well in my calculated column.   Essentially, I need to sum up (aggregate) the shipped total revenue, by customer.   If the TOTAL value of those shipments is within the values below, I need it to return the corresponding value.   

So, if customer "X" has total YTD sales of 101,000 then column should say "AR".     If the customer has total YTD sales of greater than 1.9 million, then it should say "PAR 1%".     I am not looking for each row to have a value, because I am not wanting to look at the row level.   So I am wondering if this should be a measure instead?   

Switch PAR = SWITCH(TRUE(),

[Sales YTD] >= 1999999,"PAR 1%",

[Sales YTD] >= 1000000, "PAR",

[Sales YTD] >= 100000, "AR",

@parry2k   That was the clarification I needed!    Turned it into a measure and working fine now.
