Swiss Localization not Working as expected

I am trying to localize the number formats and want to have the decimal separators displayed as apostrophes. Expected Example: 127'931'598,50 CHF  Current Formatting: 127.931.598,50 CHF     Sadly...

Hi TimGabriel ,

 

Yes, because the end result becomes text. And Decomposition Tree Visual does not currently support formatting Value labels.🤔

Please consider submitting this idea to bring it to the attention of the product team.

Also try changing the OS and PowerBI region to Swiss then try opening a new file to load the data? the initial region of the model is related to when the first load is made.

Hi Anonymous,

thanks again. I now tried creating an entirely new pbix, then
1.) changing the file localization
2.) connecting to the access DB and reading my data

3.) adjusting the localization in the data view

4.) using the 

 

Table.TransformColumnTypes(#"Changed Type", {{"Gross Sales", type number}}, "de-CH")

 

 

However the format is still wrong. (I also tested the format in after steps 2 and 3 respectively, but the fornat was wrong...)

 

Lastly, I created the feature suggestion: Microsoft Idea

Do you have any final suggestion?
