Swapping visuals based on matrix measure

Thanks for responding...   By "appropriate visuals" - most likely be a group of visuals that relate to the row (dimension) and column (measures).    I have been able to make work with bookmarks, and when I flip back and forth using the book mark pane - I get what I want.   But when I create a botton assigned to a particalur bookmark - I loose the selected (focused) row/column within hte master matrix - and my filter goes back to a default/wide open filter.
For now - I have setup a drill thru page that gets closer and does what I want.  However, my user feedback is to keep all on a single page.

Think my real issue is not allowing interactions between the botton and master visual.  But I am not finding a way to shut this interaction off for bottons?
