Hello all,
I have data that's imported into Power Bi using an access key from my survey in SurveyMonkey. Today I noticed my report failed to automatically update (after being successful for the last year). The error it gave was that a column could not be found. I don't have access to the survey itself in SurveyMonkey, but I wanted to confirm that if questions are changes in the survey, after Power Bi development, the report will break, similar to excel, due to changes in questions/columns. Thanks!

Hi @ErikSierra7 ,
Your assumption is correct and changes in the underlying schema/structure will break the report. To resolve this when it occurs, you can open the Power Query editor in the Power BI report and manually refresh the scehma for the changed table.
If this helped, please mark it as the solution so others can benefit too. And if you found it useful, kudos are always appreciated.
Thanks,
Samson

Hi @ErikSierra7
Either a column in the data source was renamed or deleted or some columns although aren't explicitly referenced in the query were renamed or removed. In such cases, the Power BI Service does not automatically perform a schema refresh. To resolve this, refresh the dataset in Power BI Desktop and then republish it.
