Summary from column doesn´t work!

Hello everyone!

 

I´m connected to an Excel-File (but same Problem with tha datas in a Sharepoint List)
There is a column which is formatted as Number.

But first problem: 
Power Bi doesn´t sum

Second Problem:
It´s not possible for me to put this Data on a y-axis.
Power BI allows onle Legend 😞

I tried to convert from text to number (maybe some formatting-problems) but nothing hels.

 

Anbody with an idea?

Hi @Marcus_S 

After testing, it can work well in my sample.

You can try to remove the step of 'changing type', then rechange it type to whole number again in power query, then in power bi desktop, make sure that in column tools , the summarization is Sum.

If the information above cannot solve it, please check that your data in excel, and make sure the data is number, and you can remove the data in power bi desktop, and reconnect it in again.
