Summarization of Bar char visual erroring out

I have a simple bar chart with product hierarchy on the x axis and expenses on the y axis. The bar chart get populated correctly. I wanted to try out the summarize function so I right clicked on the visual and selected Summarize. The new visual looks like below and see details has the following.

I am not sure where to even start looking for this and googling didn't help either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@MonishaM I believe this is a direct query limitation.

@MonishaM seems like a bug, I tried and it worked. Can you check with another column on the x-axis?

Yeah, i have tried with different columns but still receive the same error. If it is of any help: the source is an SSAS Tabular model connected in direct query mode.
