Summarise two columns based on time series

Hi Gurus!

I am trying to make the below happened but desperate for ideas.

Original Data:

Theoretically one company can only have one tax code. So I want to figure out, during this period, how many companies have 2,3,4, or even more tax codes so I can investigate. Below is what I wanted to have ultimately in PBI visual.

Does someone happen to know the answer?

Cheers

Jimmy

  • Hi,

Why do you not keep it as simple as this.  Drag Company to the visual and then write this measure

    =DISTINCTCOUNT(Data[Tax code])

    Hope this helps.

      Hi Ashish_Mathur ,

Thank you for your reply, I tried the same thing however it was counting how many types of tax codes in the whole column, just like below.

        Hi,

In the visualisation pane, click on the down arrow of "Count of vendor names" ancd select "Dont Summarize".

        Hope this helps.
