Sum offest equivalent in DAX

Hey,

 

I would appreciate equivalent of this Excel formula "=SUM(OFFSET(A2;0;0;1;A7))" in DAX. Could someone help me?

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Although a part of the syntax in DAX is similar to excel and used in the same way, DAX calculations is dependent on context and based no the information you place on your visuals and tables.

     

    The OFFSET formula can be achieve on DAX but depends on your data and the context because you are not making the calculations of specific columns like in Excel, the information can be changed in formatting and position within the visual.

     

    Can you share an ecample of what you need to achieve with a small example dataset?

      I need to sum number of cells from left higlighted by red line based on number highlited by yellow line. For example in first row i need to sum first six cells from left.
