Sum of averages :ignore dimension

Hello, could you please help me with dax:

In the table I have 3 dimensions : Age, State, Year

In values I have Population for each combination of these 3 dimensions.

But also I have Sales calculated on basis of State and Year and duplicated for each age.

I want to create a mesure SUM OF SALES ignoring AGE.

Thank you for any advice

Hi @Anonymous ,

According to your description, here are my steps you can follow as a solution.

(1)Select to display the sales column in sum form.

(2) Then the result is as follows.

(3) Or we can create a measure.

SUM OF SALES = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[SALES]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[STATE],'Table'[YEAR]))

(4) Then the result is as follows.

If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.
