I'm looking to getting a total only figure for the spend by customers based on the financial year and need assistance in creating the measure. Below is some sample data from an existing report. I'm looking to summarise this data into something like
Customer 1 $1,840.10
Customer 2 $2,250.00
Customer 3 $2,189.00
Customer 4 $12,411.74
etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Martin_Lanyon Since you only needed two cloumns, just drag both into the table. Power BI will automatically sum the values for duplicates. You can see the below attachment
If you use the Matrix visual, you can drag your CustomerName column into the Row. Then drag your InvoiceAmount column into your Values. Ensure you have InvoiceAmount as a number / currency format. You can then use the Year from your Date column (using Date Hieararchy) as the Column field in the Matrix visual.
Hope this helps.
Theo 🙂
