Sum a item by week

Hi everyone,

I have a problem to analyzing the following data. I am not sure how to write DAX statement. ANd Do I need a Date table? Many thnaks

Staff    Hours spent     date

A         5                      1/7/2019

A         6                       3/7/2019

A         8                       8/7/2019

A         9                       10/7/2019

B         3                       2/7/2019

B         6                       3/7/2019
B         6                       9/7/2019
B         7                       10/7/2019

My expected result like the following.

Week 1 1/1/2019 - 7/1/2019

A 11 Hours

B  9 Hours

Week 2  8/7/2019 - 14/7/2019

A 17 Hours

B 13 Hours

Should be able to use WEEKNUM to get a grouping of rows by week. Also, see my quick measures involving week here:
