Helper ISum Alternate Item Sales with Userelationship
I would like to create a table that sums sales for particular items as well as for suggested alternate items.
I have 3 tables: DimItem, which has ItemNumber, FactSales, which has ItemNumber and Sales, and Alternate, which has ItemNumber and AlternateItemNumber. All the ItemNumbers have relationships built in.
I tried creating an inactive relationship between Alternate[AlternateItemNumber] and FactSales[ItemNumber] and using userelationship to get the sales for the alternate items, but I got the same value that I got when I just summed Sales normally.
I want this:
| Item Number | Total Sales | Suggested Alternate | Total Sales (Alternate) |
| ItemA | $x (ItemA Sales) | ItemB | $y (ItemB Sales) |

Brotedo , can you share the measure? Also, the item column in visual is coming from a common item table
