Sum Aggregate - Postal codes in map
Hello all,
I please need your help:
For visualising in a map I got postal codes from all over the world in an excel file - my problem is: it always sums up all the postal codes instead of using the codes just as a "normal" number.
How can I change from sum to normal?
THANKS

- danextianSuper UserThere are two things you can do to address this:
Set your postal code as text or
In modelling tab and while your postal code column is selected, select do not summarize from the aggregate/summarize option.
Whichever option you follow, still from modelling tab select postal/zip code from data category drop down.- carobaramundiRegular Visitor
Thanks for your help - still doesnt work unfortunately...
I set the postal code as a text in my excel file
Problem:
I cant select aggregates (tried like this: select column in dropdown - click on visualisation - there is no dropdown with aggregate options) - is this caused by the fact that I only got the free version of power bi?
