Suggestions with Copilot under Quick Measure is missing

Hi Team,

Power BI Quick Measure Suggestions With Copilot Not working 

The Suggestions with copilot tab under Quick Measure is missing in power BI Desktop since October 2024.

PFB for your reference

Suggestions with copilot under Quick Measure functionality was working fine till Sep 2024 and below is the screenshot for your reference where this functionality created a dax query as shown below

FYI,  copilot feature to write dax is enabled under preview features as shown below but still the suggestions with copilot under quick measure is missing

Please help to resolve the issue at the earliest.

Did you download Power BI Desktop from the Microsoft Store? You might want to consider using this link to download Power BI Desktop from the official website. The Copilot feature will be displayed under Quick Measure.

Hi  @PadmaPriyaS ,

According to the official documentation, you can check if your connection mode is LiveConnect and where your data is located:

• The feature isn't supported for LiveConnect data models.
• The feature is powered by a machine learning model that is currently only deployed to US datacenters (East US and West US). If your data is outside the US, the feature will be disabled by default unless your tenant admin enables Allow user data to leave their geography tenant setting:

You can also try logging out of your account and logging in again to see if this feature appears.

Hi Liu Yang,

The data is loaded through import mode and I was able to leverage suggestions with copilot feature till septmeber 2024. This feature is missing under quick measure tab from the past 10 days.

In my tests, using copilot with the Quick Measure feature displays it correctly, and I can't reproduce your scene at the moment:

This is the version information for my Power BI Desktop, you can click Help - About to see if it is the latest version:

Is your Power BI Desktop the latest version, if not, you can update to the latest version.

You can check the restrictions related to turning on Copilot in the following links, see if the Copilot feature in Microsoft Fabric is enabled in the Fabric Management Portal, and other reasons:
