When I opened a report I have been working on for weeks in PBI Desktop, now suddently I can't modify it. Everything in the Visualizations panel when I highlight a visual I want to change, such as adding data points, is grayed out. I tried accessing the file both from my PC and from PBI Server, and had the same problem either way.

No, it is the same version I have been using all along. However, I think the problem has to do with uploading the file to PBI Report Server. When I opened that file in Desktop is when I discovered this problem. I have Report Server permissions for Browser, Content Manager, Publisher and Report Builder. In any case, thanks for your help and I will pursue this from that angle.
Hi @mdaitsman
Have you uninstalled the original PBI Desktop?
This report is created by the previous version, right?
Best Regards
Maggie
