Sudden Layout Difference: Embedded Power BI Slicers missing for specific user in D365 F&O
- 5 months ago
Hi Ramkishor ,
Thank you for confirming that the report was previously working on the same Mac device and that no RLS, slicer, or report changes were made. Since the behavior started recently and is limited to specific Mac users, this does not appear to be related to report configuration or security settings.
Based on the information shared, this may require deeper investigation into the client rendering or embedded experience, which is not something that can be fully validated through the forum.
I would recommend opening a Microsoft Support ticket so the support team can review service logs and investigate further from the backend.
To raise a support ticket for Fabric and Power BI, kindly follow the steps outlined in the following guide:

Were there any changes to RLS/OLS recently? Are they able to see the data when using different device?
I would also ask them to reset filters in PowerBI Service, especially if there were any changes with slicers.

There have been no recent changes to RLS, or overall security settings.
Users are able to see the data correctly on other devices, and the issue is specific to Mac users only.
There have also been no changes to slicers from our side.- v-menakakota5 months agoCommunity Support
Hi Ramkishor ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
Thanks for confirming there were no recent RLS/OLS or slicer changes, and that the report works correctly on other devices. Since the issue is happening only for Mac users, this looks more like a browser or client-side rendering behavior rather than a problem with the report or security setup.
As mentioned in Microsoft documentation, Power BI reports are supported across browsers, but layout and visual alignment can sometimes differ depending on the browser or operating system being used:

Could you please check the following points:
1.Test the report using a different browser on Mac (Safari, Chrome, or Edge).
2.Clear browser cache/cookies and reload the D365 workspace.
3.Make sure browser zoom is set to 100%.
4.Try opening the report directly in Power BI Service (if accessible) to compare the layout outside D365 F&O.
5.Reset any personal bookmarks or persistent filters in Power BI Service.
If I misunderstand your needs or you still have problems on it, please feel free to let us know.

Hi v-menakakota ,
Thank you for your response.
FYI, The user how is trying to see the reports have viewed these reports many times earlier in the MAC and never faced an issue , but from the past 3-4 days she is facing the issue.
