Subtract value based on slicer selection

I need some help creating a report , What I'm trying to do is calculate total number of hours system was up in a given time period. I could able to calculate the  hours in the given Time period now what I would like is to give user an option to subtract few hours from the hours that were calculated. I would like to give them a slicer with values from 1 to 30 and based on the selection the Total hours should be calculate this way; TotalHours= Hours - 4*Slicervalue selected.  What I have is a dataset with Datecolum and  uptime hours. How Do i create the sclier column ? and How Do i create the final measure to caluclate the Total Hours.
