I am working with a CSV file that has multiple items in a single column which i wanted to seperate out to be able to filter out charts. I am doing as it says in this solution: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/How-to-separate-values-in-chart/td-p/54220
However, when i apply the queries it just gets stuck on Apply Query Changes 68KB. The file size is 2.1MB.
Is there a way to solve this issue? I've left it for 3 hours and nothing
Hello.
Solution is table.buffer. My power query stuck 20 hour. And over 200 GB, same problems. Solution is use table.buffer on correct position. Before functions. First buffer the table and call function with buffered table.
Hi @Anonymous , try clearing the cache and temp files on your local drive.
Temp files:
C:\Users\xxxxxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\TempSaves

hi @amitchandak i have just updated to Version: 2.88.1385.0 64-bit (December 2020)
@amitchandak yes i have also tried with a new file. RAM does seem to be high. What is strange is when i leave it to run i have 154GB left on my hard drive but when it runs i get a windows warning to say there is no space left on hard drive and when i check its at 0. but if i cancel it, it goes back up?
@Anonymous , That is really strange. Not sure you can do this, but uninstall and reinstall power bi. And also make sure not the windows patch is pending.
