Struggling with drill-through :(

Hi all, 

I am really struggling with the drill-through function. Basically I have a page with 2 matrix and 1 date slicer ( which is a date column in a calendar dimension table).  One matrix is showing this period data and the other matrix is showing last year period data.

The last year period data matrix is composed by 2 measures, that are using the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR( using the date slicer column) function as a filter within a calculate function. The problem comes when I try to drill through any of this measures, it applies the date slicer filter. 

Lets say I select October 2022 on my date slicer, when I drill through the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR measures, is filtering on October 2022 instead of October 2021, which will be my desired result.
