Hi,
New to BI and I kind of struggle to build things that are not out of the box. It will take some time to get up to speed..
I looked around and couldn't find an answer to my pain .
I have a set of data Incidents ID and date and time associated with each one
:
I’m trying to use a chart – stream one – to present live last 24 hours volume of incidents by type of incident (a, B, C..etc).
All good not a big mess here. However, if I’m planning to present live on an hourly refresh schedule, it seems challenging to sort it out by last refresh time instead of regular display.
type is the colour,
for example above last refreash was at 2pm. in my chart 2 in in the middle(ish) while in a story format it should be in the far right as the last entry.
To get the data in this format I used Bins to group the hours after spliting the date .
the problem of time sorting goes away if i'm using the actual date. but as I have hours/min and type the chart loses its charm and becomes unreadble.
i'm thinking that it should work if i can build a rolling volume per hour and use the actual date created for the category.
i'm not sure how to use the dax to get it and at the same time not sure if it will work.
Any solution to go around this will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
I.
@ilinca2020 on x-axis you have to use date and time stamp instead of just time
