Strange error in a slicer with multiple fields

Hi, I have a slicer with 4 fields, and when i traverse through the choices, i get to the 4th field below, and when i click on it, this is the message I get.

"The InstanceFilters have a column expression that cannot be matched to any existing grouping expression. Instance filters need to match the grouping columns."

Can someone advise on this? Was having trouble finding details related to this error.

They are all from the same table. I haven't gotten the error in the last few days, i wonder if i tweaked something and without realizing it, fixed it.  I will insert the screen print here and details when it occurs again. Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Are the four  fields applied on the slicer from a single table or multiple tables? If they are from multiple tables, could you please share the relationship information if it exist any relationship between tables. Also provide the field settings of the slicer and a screenshot with the error message mentioned in your post. Thank you.

I hit the same error. It happened when TxDate calculated table definition was changed. All the matrix visuals with the date column from that table broke, and one o them gave me "The InstanceFilters have a column expression that cannot be matched to any existing grouping expression. Instance filters need to match the grouping columns."

Removing and readding the date column to the affected matrix visual fixed it. For some reason visuals get broken when the date calculated table definition changes.
