Store Sort Order in a Bookmark

Is there a way to maintain the sort order of a table without maintaining the data itself in the Bookmark? 

e.g. I have a table where I have sorted by multiple columns. If the user then changes the sort order then I'd like you provide a button for them to switch back to the original complex, multi-column sort ordered table. 

The table or rather model is security controlled so different users will see different data so checking the data option in the Bookmark option isn't an option.
