Hi All   I want to create a dynamic column that keeps track of a number of ranks for a store .    Then i can create a drill down page into a trophy case of sorts , so im thinking when drilled dow...

Hi JamesBurke ,

 

Does Measure[Rank] change results due to external filtering? If so, I doubt this is possible. This is because the calculated column [Monthly Rank] is only recalculated on memory refresh, which means that it can't change the results due to visual interactions.

If it is only filtered by 'table' [Mth & Yr] and 'table' [Building Name], you could try creating such a calculation table:

 

Table 2 = ADDCOLUMNS(SUMMARIZE(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Building Name],'Date'[Mth & Yr]), "Monthly Rank", RANKX(ALL('Table'[Building Name]),CALCULATE([Your Measure])))
