Store Rank

Hi All

I want to create a dynamic column that keeps track of a number of ranks for a store .

Then i can create a drill down page into a trophy case of sorts , so im thinking when drilled down onto a specifc store it would say x amount of Rank 1's for example.

Thinking maybe a count of Rank =1 but as the ranks are Measurements i'm not sure if this is possible.

Something like this ( made up Table ) but for each Month so it would have an additonal column called Mth & Yr in which every Month it would keep a record of their ranks so i can refrence them.

These are my Three main Tables

Thanks , James.

    Rank has to be based on certain base value . for example based on sales I want to Rank the Promotions

    Rank = RANKX(DimPromotion,[Total Sales])
    you can create the column which is dynamic in nature based on the chnage in the sales value (for above example)

    Hi JamesBurke ,

    Does Measure[Rank] change results due to external filtering? If so, I doubt this is possible. This is because the calculated column [Monthly Rank] is only recalculated on memory refresh, which means that it can't change the results due to visual interactions.

    If it is only filtered by 'table' [Mth & Yr] and 'table' [Building Name], you could try creating such a calculation table:

    Table 2 = ADDCOLUMNS(SUMMARIZE(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Building Name],'Date'[Mth & Yr]), "Monthly Rank", RANKX(ALL('Table'[Building Name]),CALCULATE([Your Measure])))

    Best Regards,
    Gao
