Storage mode

Hi, i wanted to know if i have a table in directquery mode, can i add custom columns to it if lets say i cant adjust in my data source (adding the custom column in the source instead)?

    HiHussein_charif  In DirectQuery mode, you can't add calculated columns directly to the table. Instead, you can use DAX measures for dynamic calculations. If modifying the source is not an option, consider using Power Query transformations or switching to Import Mode if the dataset size permits. Calculated columns are only available in Import Mode for DirectQuery tables.
