Storage Mode - What did I do?
I accidentally switched my storage mode to Import Mode earlier today. It now seems to be that way on all my Power BI Reports saved on my network drives. Is there a way to switch them back? I didn't mean to switch it and it seems to affect my ability to update my data in my reports. Is there anything I can do? Most things I have read say it can not be switched back.
Hi jdixon ,
Sadly once the storage mode is import, you won't be able to change it back to DirectQuery. As a work-around, you can try to re-use.
Duplicate the file, delete all the sources in the Transform Data menu and get data again with DirectQuery and check if visualizations will keep working and calculated measures/columns aren't erroring out.
