May be I'm asking for too much, but I'm trying to increase efficiency of my Power BI report and was wondering if this is possible...
I have imported 10 different SharePoint lists into my report. Based on a few common columns I have used "Append Query" feature to merge these lists into one.
Now, out of these 10 lists, 5 have been decommissioned. While I still need to show the existing data from them, is there anyway I can stop my Power BI seeking data during scheduled refreshes?

There is an option in the query editor "Include in Report Refresh", which by default is activated. If you deselect it, your query will not be refreshed when the report is refreshed - BUT ONLY if it loaded directly to the data model. This is not the case with your data, but you can use this workaround instad: http://www.thebiccountant.com/2017/01/11/incremental-load-in-powerbi-using-dax-union/
