Hi Folks,
I am extracting data from Teradata and it is a very time consuming download, taking around 8 hours.
Everytime I perform a table merge, BI goes back to the source data and validates it all again. This appears unnecessary and is threatening my delivery.
Is there any way to stop the data validation step when merging tables please?
Thanks

Currently, it's not possible to stop the data validation when doing sturcture change on dataset. If those tables you want to merge are from same database, you can consider using Direct Query mode it will not reopen connection to source database.
