Stop Data Validation when merging tables

Hi Folks,   I am extracting data from Teradata and it is a very time consuming download, taking around 8 hours.   Everytime I perform a table merge, BI goes back to the source data and validates ...

    Currently, it's not possible to stop the data validation when doing sturcture change on dataset. If those tables you want to merge are from same database, you can consider using Direct Query mode it will not reopen connection to source database.
